Who we are

BuildStack Labs is the brand of BuildStack Technologies, a sole proprietorship based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We make Purohit, FurFam, alaap and the experiments at addresses ending in buildstack.club. "We", "us" and "our" mean BuildStack Technologies; "you" means the person using this website or paying for a feature.

These terms and each app's terms

By using this website, or by paying for a feature in one of our apps, you agree to these terms. Each app has its own terms for how you use it:

• Purohit: purohit.app/terms
• FurFam: furfam.club/terms
• alaap and our experiments: shown in the app before you use it

Where an app's terms are more specific about that app, they apply to it.

Using this website

This website tells you about BuildStack Labs and our apps. Please do not try to break it, overload it or get around its security. The text, logos and design are ours. You may link to us, but you may not use them in a way that suggests you are us or that we endorse you.

Paid features and payments

What we sell are one-time digital features inside our apps, such as removing the purohit.app line from an invitation card made on Purohit. Current prices are on our Pricing page.

• Prices are in Indian rupees, and the price is shown before you pay. You pay exactly the price shown at checkout.
• Payments on our websites are processed by Razorpay, by UPI, card, net banking or wallet, as Razorpay offers them. A purchase inside an iPhone or Android app may go through the App Store or Google Play instead, under Apple's or Google's terms.
• Each payment is for one item. Nothing renews by itself, and we never take money from your account later. If we ever offer a subscription, its price, its period and how to cancel it will be stated before you agree to it.
• What you buy is delivered digitally, as set out in our Shipping and delivery policy.
• Refunds follow our Refunds and cancellations policy.

People you meet through our apps

Some of our apps connect you with other people, such as a purohit on Purohit or another dog parent on FurFam. They are independent: they are not our employees or agents. Any arrangement you make with them, including dakshina or any other payment for a puja, is between you and them and is not paid through us.

AI features

Some apps use AI to answer questions or make suggestions, such as Barfi, the pet care assistant in FurFam, or the practice coach in alaap. AI answers can be wrong. They are not professional advice: for your pet's health, see a vet.

No guarantees

We work to keep our websites and apps running and accurate, but we provide them as they are. We cannot promise that they will always be available or free of errors.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim about a paid feature is limited to the amount you paid for that feature. Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under Indian consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top when we do. Using the website, or paying for a feature, after a change means you accept the updated terms. A change never affects a payment you have already made.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, please write to us first; most problems are solved that way. Otherwise, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction. This does not affect your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
